3 Weeks of Gratitude Challenge!!!

DAY 12 of 21~ Health

Maybe it's because we've been so sick these past few days, or maybe it's because I just got back from the gremlins' 3 yr well child visit... (YEAH!! well CHILD... it makes me sick that it's no longer well BABY)... but I got to thinking how lucky we REALLY are... No real ailments and this check up went marvelously... Then again I just LOVE hearing how my babies are and I quote... "PERFECT"...

They both showed off with their ABC's and their shapes... and counting and colors in both English and Spanish...

Got a few Kudos from Super Doc, but I bet she says that to all the mommas.. but I was grateful, and grateful my gremlins are PERFECT!!!!

Did you know gratitude is good for your health? Fortunately, a positive attitude can be cultivated, with a little practice. Although we are born with specific temperamental tendencies, the brain is a muscle, and you can strengthen your mind’s natural tendency toward optimism if you work at it.  Researchers have found that positive thinking and gratitude can help....

  • lower your blood pressure
  • help you lose weight
  • decrease your risk of developing depression, phobias, bulimia and alcoholism
  • Relieve stress (which in itself can help reduce the risk of heart disease and cancer)

So let's practice gratitude this month! In honor of Thanksgiving month, we want to do a 3 weeks (21 days) of Thanks Challenge.
