I am grateful for my Daughters.
Three years ago today, your daddy and I went to the Dr. for our 34 week check up and make sure you guys were OK. Mommy was so excited because this was the FIRST appointment daddy could go to (He just got back from a 7 month deployment) and Mommy was soooo hoping the Dr. would give her an ultrasound so daddy could see you. In my mind this was the first day daddy WOULD see you, but I had no idea just HOW right I was.
Not long after our appointment mommy found out you were coming. True to your VERY nature, you refused to wait the 6 weeks you had left and decided YOU wanted to see daddy too.
I remember asking daddy if he thought he would get emotional or cry when he FIRST heard you, and daddy said he wouldn't cry... I'm here to tell you he cried, and he cried for you BOTH...
At 11:58 AM we welcomed one of you into our lives weighing 7lbs 12 oz and 18inches long, and at 12:00 noon we welcomed your sister weighing 7lbs 14oz and 18inches long. I was complete, Your cry was like music, your skin perfection, the crinkle in your noses, your tiny fingers and feet, everything was pure perfection.... I must say this was by FAR the BEST day of my entire life.

A meeting convened one day
in Heavens' sacred hall.
The Ideal mother must be found
for twins so sweet and small.
She must be patient, first of all,

Did you know gratitude is good for your health? Fortunately, a positive attitude can be cultivated, with a little practice. Although we are born with specific temperamental tendencies, the brain is a muscle, and you can strengthen your mind’s natural tendency toward optimism if you work at it. - help you lose weight
- decrease your risk of developing depression, phobias, bulimia and alcoholism
- Relieve stress (which in itself can help reduce the risk of heart disease and cancer)
So let's practice gratitude this month! In honor of Thanksgiving month, we want to do a 3 weeks (21 days) of Thanks Challenge.
