Aloha Friday

In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day to take it easy and look forward to the weekend. Kalani @ An Island Life is hosting Aloha Friday. What's that you ask? I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response. If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog and leave your link at An Island Life. Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends!

Today’s question is:

If you saw a friend / family member's spouse cheating on them, what would you do?

(Me? I wouldn't get involved... but if asked, I wouldn't lie)

  1. I have been in this situation & I did tell. In this case, it was my best friend that was doing the cheating. It was a hard decision. They did work things out & are still together, but it wasn't easy for any of us.

  2. I would like to think I would tell the person that is being cheated on, however, I would make absolutely certain I had my facts straight first. You never know who might have either an open relationship, or maybe the couple has split up and is just not telling others yet.

Geez, I hope I am never put in this situation.

  3. I'm with you. I would stay out of it but wouldn't cover up for them. Although, if it were happening to me I would want to be told. It's such a tough situation.

  4. Kind of depends on the friend, some I'd be sorely tempted to say something but I'm inclined to agree with you.

  5. I would tell them. Noone told me my first husband was cheating and I do wish they had.

  6. That's a tough one. All I know is if someone knew that about me and didn't tell me.. I would be pretty upset that I would be the "last" to know...If it was a close friend or family, as hard as it would be I would have to tell them.

  7. I have also been in this situation before. My friend was not married, but her boyfriend was cheating on her. I think he wanted me to tell her since he brought his new friend to a hockey game where he knew we both had season tickets. I struggled at first, but knew I had to tell her.

  8. I guess it depends on how close I am with the person getting cheated on.... I would want to know, so I think I might say something.

  9. I'd tell and I hope I'd be told if the shoe was on the other foot!

  11. I think I would have to go with, you fess up or I will tell for you. If they didn't fess up I would say anything. lol - I would keep it to myself in hopes they would confess.

  12. Wow! I hope that I'm never put in this situation because that would be so sad. I hope none of them ever cheat! I think I'd have to let them know, though. There are so many things they'd need to be aware of...like having unprotected sex with their partner. :(
